More about the apartment

Blueberry Orchard is a one-room, atmospheric apartment located in a historic building made of field stone. It is independent and fenced. During its construction, we tried to preserve the traditional building elements, e.g. such as the visible texture of the stone walls or the slab formwork characteristic of the region.

We enter through the first garden – a covered and covered garden with an area of approx. 100 m2. The fence is 1.8 m high. At the far end of the room, opposite the main entrance to the apartment, we see a large, rounded window with muntin bars. Through this window you can go out to the second garden. Here we have an additional 120 m2 of fenced area at our disposal.

But let’s go back inside. We immediately notice a lot of wood – ceiling, furniture, accessories. The entire interior is bright – apart from daylight coming through the windows and entrance doors, the room is well lit with numerous lamps.

The lounge area has a comfortable double sofa, an armchair, a coffee table and a large chest where you can put a tray with coffee, tea and cake. The wicker armchair will appeal to literature lovers – it is very comfortable, and in combination with an adjacent floor lamp, it is the perfect place to forget your reading. There is a flat-screen TV in the seating area on a pine chest of drawers. In addition, we offer our guests unlimited access to the Internet in the form of WiFi. Another piece of furniture in the living area deserves attention – an antique, wooden chest of drawers. It is a partially restored, family-run, historical piece of furniture from my grandparents’ house. The sleeping area, i.e. the double bed, can be separated by curtains. It includes duvets and pillows, bed linen, blankets and books.

The kitchenette is distinguished by an antique, wooden sideboard, which offers several spacious cabinets for food, necessary accessories and kitchen appliances. These are i.a. stone sink, two-plate induction hob, microwave oven, fridge with a small freezer, a set of pots, pans, cutlery, glasses, cups and glasses. Right next to the kitchen area we have a dining room with Provencal wooden table and chairs.

The apartment has its own, spacious bathroom with a hydro-massage shower cubicle and a rain shower, a toilet with a free-fall seat, a countertop washbasin and a large mirror. In the bathroom, you can see several unique elements, such as the original wooden towel rack (adapted from the saddle rack J), toilet paper holder made of sea-cut wood, or stylish lighting sconces. But the most impressive thing is the unique countertop for the washbasin, made by hand from natural recycled materials. The table top was made of old, over a hundred-year-old logs, which until recently carried the roof structure above the apartment. You can see the tooth of time (and the bark beetle ;-)) on them, but nevertheless they still arouse admiration and perform their function perfectly.

A wooden, 20-meter terrace with a south-west exposure is located in front of the main entrance to the apartment, i.e. in the first garden. The terrace is an additional place to spend your free time – be it in the form of eating meals, morning coffee, grilling or enjoying the midday sun. The gardens are equipped with a seating set, deck chairs, a hammock and a barbecue.

The nearest area

In front of the entrance to the apartment there is a blueberry orchard, i.e. several dozen huge honeysuckle bushes! Berries ripen much faster than most fruits in Poland – in June you can enjoy the unique taste and health benefits of these fruits. Needless to say, the tastiest ones are straight from the bush. At a time when the berries are still or are gone, the blueberry orchard is a refuge for numerous birds – mainly mazurkas. They sing for our guests almost continuously.

It is approx. 50 m from the blueberry orchard to the pond. The parking space is located near the apartment in a designated parking lot for guests, approx. 20 m from the gate. The apartment is fully independent – apart from the guests, there are no other people and animals on the premises of the apartment and the plot. We offer a large bed and bowls for our dog guests.
